Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Consultant Psychiatrist (Private Work) at MLUK. The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric expertise and assessments, offering consultations to instructing agencies, and collaborating with legal professionals. They will also be involved in conducting evaluations, preparing reports, and providing expert opinions as required.


Qualifications

  • Psychiatric expertise and assessment skills
  • Experience in providing consultations and collaborating with legal professionals
  • Evaluation, report preparation, and expert opinion skills
  • Familiarity with legal procedures and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in medico-legal work is a plus
  • MD or equivalent degree in Psychiatry
