Your New Employer

Join one of the fastest-growing renewable energy asset developers in the world, currently managing a ground breaking 300 MW grid-connected battery storage project. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, this organisation has doubled in size over the past two years, driven by its dynamic leadership and ambitious growth strategy.

Your New Role

As a Principal Protection and Control Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and development of protection systems for a range of grid connection projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed design deliverables, including key line diagrams, protection schematics, SCADA connections, and cable schedules. With responsibilities that include tender writing, cost estimation, and stakeholder management, your technical expertise will ensure the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects.

Your Background

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering with experience in protection and control design, particularly for grid-connected projects and large-scale renewable developments such as battery energy storage and solar energy. You will be well-versed in electrical design principles, with a strong understanding of equipment specification, protection panels, and SCADA systems. Your ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and manage multiple tasks efficiently will be key to your success in this role.

With a focus on clean technologies and sustainable solutions, you will have the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of energy.
