Role Overview

As Head of Learning & Development, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of the L&D function, including Leadership, Management, and Compliance
  • Support and promote the Strategic Plan
  • Line manage Heads of Departments and Digital Strategy Lead

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

  • Set a clear vision for Learning & Development and devise pathways to achieve it
  • Ensure learning is central to strategic planning and resource management
  • Lead and promote innovative training, learning, and assessment practices
  • Spearhead quality assurance initiatives
  • Stay current with latest research and evidence-based pedagogy
  • Promote a research-based approach to Training & Learning
  • Deliver quarterly Teaching & Learning newsletter/blog
  • Contribute to CPD and Inset programmes
  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy Lead on software implementation
