Your responsibilities will include attending to breakdowns, performing fault-finding, and conducting root cause analysis to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also play a crucial role in supporting the wider facilities team and various departmental functions to maintain the continuous operation of the site. Upholding Health & Safety standards and adhering to safe working practices at all times is essential. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and clean room environments is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Plan and deliver routine PPM on relevant equipment
  2. Evaluate breakdowns and perform repairs as required
  3. Coordinate external contractors on site for PPM and repair
  4. Liaise with departments to provide support and solutions to challenges
  5. Clear written and verbal communication to Facilities team on shift handover
  6. Actively participate in team meetings contributing improvements and solutions
  7. Previous hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
  8. Multi-discipline maintenance ideally with a biased towards electrical and including Mechanical and Instrumentation is desired.
  9. Working knowledge of HVAC, water treatment and steam systems
  10. Ability to work as part of the team but also be able to prioritise own workload to achieve deadlines.
  11. Well organised with an excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
  12. Strong level of written and verbal communication.
  13. Previous experience or knowledge of working in a cGMP environment is highly beneficial.
  14. GMP requires detailed trending, reporting and traceability captured within documentation. Therefore, it is required to have a good level of written English and clear handwriting.


Skills and Qualifications

  1. This role requires a qualified facility engineer with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience after qualification
  2. Technical/building services qualification or related apprenticeship


You must already hold the right to work in the UK as we are unable to provide sponsorship.


Hours: 8-hour shifts including breaks between 6:30am - 2:30pm, and 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (this is on a rotational basis), paid overtime available, shift allowance
