Role Description
We are looking for experienced arborists to carry out powerline clearance and general tree surgery work. We are open to the option of full-time employment or self-employed workers.
We are based in Newent and work in a wide radius.
Responsibilities
- Powerline clearance and general tree surgery work
- Ability to complete a wide variety of skilled work
- Operating equipment, for example woodchippers, chainsaws, MEWPs
- Operating at the highest health and safety levels
- Completing work to an accurate and high standard.
- Teamworking and prepared to take responsibility
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in tree surgery and arboriculture
- Good knowledge of tree identification
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
Required certification includes:
- Driving License
- CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39
- UA1, UA2.2 and UA2.3
- Use of woodchipper
- First Aid + F
