Platform Automation Engineer

On behalf of my client, I am looking to speak to a skilled Platform Automation Engineer. You will design, implement, and maintain automated solutions for rapid, consistent delivery of services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement platform automation for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • Enhance automation practices to improve workflows and release processes.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Utilize containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable, automated deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation throughout the platform lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in automation, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
  • Knowledge of containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
  • Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with potential for DV clearance.
