We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Partner (HR) to join our team. As a Senior Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives focused on the achievement of business goals they will provide hands-on human resources expertise in key areas including talent acquisition, talent and career development, coaching and mentoring, workforce and succession planning, employee relations, performance management, engagement and policy deployment.
Role
- Management of operational HR activities with provision of guidance, support and coaching where appropriate.
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders to influence, steer and ensure the delivery of the people strategy and drive sustained organisational performance, influencing leaders and managers where required.
- Best practice Talent Acquisition activities to ensure the timely placement of qualified associates; the building and maintenance of candidate funnels for key business areas with a strategy in place to support the management of ‘hard to fill’ roles through either internal progression opportunities or interaction with external bodies. Ensuring there is a consistency of approach across the business in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future business needs.
- Development and dissemination of best practice programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding key HR metrics (talent acquisition, associate engagement, performance management, talent management, retention, compensation, diversity and inclusion etc.)
- Review, interpret, adjust, drive and champion global HR initiatives ensuring they meet expectations of local stakeholders and drive business performance.
- Development, delivery and execution of value adding and sustainable key initiatives as appropriate to support business growth.
- Ensure HR systems are in place, effective and fit for purpose of use in supporting the daily activities at the Pharma Solutions Business Unit location.
- Responsibility for the support of key talent and management development including collaboration with departmental heads to ensure solid development plans are in place with specific focus on high potential employees and the personal / professional development of associates
- Driving change management to support achievement of business goals.
- Provide professional advice to managers and associates where required and in compliance with company procedure and employment-related laws.
- Maintain an external awareness of best practice with other companies and benchmark / formalise partnerships where appropriate from a policy, initiative and benefits perspective.
- Work proactively and collaboratively with the Works Council, enhancing the relationship between employee representatives and the HR function.
- ·Ensure, alongside HRBP’s, full utilisation of levy spend including identifying and co-ordinating L&D activity.
