We are looking for an exceptional Doorperson to start at our boutique 5* Hotel in Central London.
Due to the nature of this role, the candidate MUST BE over the age of 21 and have a full clean UK Drivers Licence.
Duties:
  • Greet and welcome guests to the hotel and relieve them of their luggage, storing it if a Porter is not available.
  • Check on a daily basis the arrival report and SAG's report.
  • Handle guests requests, queries and comments in a courteous and polite manner.
  • Where luggage porters are not available, escort guests to the lobby with their luggage.
  • Call taxis for guests and visitors, opening doors as appropriate and giving directions when required.
  • To park all guest cars in the hotels allocated car parking spaces.
  • Any other ad hoc duties and full job description to be required to shortlisted candidates.
Details:
  • £26,460 per year, or £12.10 per hour + service charge (estimated at £5,000 per year)
  • 4 on 4 of schedule, averaging 42 hours per week
  • Immediate start date
  • Reporting directly to the Head Concierge
