Greenvolt Power UK is seeking a BESS Construction Manager who will be a direct contributor to the correct construction of Greenvolt Power projects footprint in Europe by actively participating in the design supervision and design of large-scale renewable energy projects, BESS with the electrical infrastructures.



Key accountabilities


  • Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements, contract discussions.
  • Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with internal staff and BESS Contractors.
  • Supervises the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers.
  • Defines, prepares and control the documentation to be able to start timely a construction of the renewable energy project.
  • Under coordination with engineering team and procurement department, to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers.
  • Schedules project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost effective construction of BESS projects.
  • Collaborate with local teams to ensure that during the construction phase the Building Permit and rest of permits requirements are respected.
  • Reports project status, recommends solutions and informs about potential risks to the Board.
  • Manages and supervises payments approvals and proper documentation preparation to obtain connection permits accordingly to project schedule.
  • Coordinates information flow between the Company and public institutions e.g.: Municipality, Commune and Public Institutions in project scope and on behalf of SPV.
  • Coordinates internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
  • Manage and control of technical /Time Schedule /H&S/Quality issues during construction process.


Qualifications

  • Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly BESS Projects (Utility scale) construction.
  • All round experience in bringing RtB projects to COD.
  • Tendering processes (RFQ/RFP), technical evaluation of BESS Contract.
  • Solid Construction Management experience in renewable power plant and high voltage infrastructures.
  • Good knowledge of engineering.
  • Good understanding on how to handle communication with the different stakeholders during the Construction process.
  • Keep costs aligned with construction budgets, and time schedule.
  • Experience in working with Auto Cad, MS Project, MS Office.
  • Negotiation skills and problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good English language skills (written/Spoken).
  • Good reporting and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working on international sites is a plus.
  • Availability to travel to countries where the company is developing and constructing projects.
