Shrewsbury UK, Shropshire, United Kingdom Different Dog Full time

About us:

Different Dog is a freshly cooked dog food subscription service with a difference. Having seen behind the curtain of the processed pet food industry, our founders, Charlie and Alex, made a vow to change dogs’ lives with high-quality ingredients and diverse recipes. Our team share our passion for canine nutrition, our growth ambitions and, of course, our love of dogs.

No one else is making dog food like us (in the UK at least). We’ve had countless 5-star Trustpilot reviews telling us the impact our food has had on the wellbeing of our customers’ dogs. We are a team of passionate dog owners who believe that nutrition matters, and that a diet of only processed food is not the way to health and happiness.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, dog loving social butterfly to further develop the Different Dog community of customers and partners.

Location:

We are currently based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, with plans to relocate to the Telford area in summer 2025.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build strong relationships and community with customers online and in person.
  • Community management on social channels, including replying to comments and DMs(Community Facebook group, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Adapt replies to our brand tone of voice and reply, ensuring that every person who gets in touch feels valued and heard.
  • Manage, help and engage with our incredible online community of Pup Partners and their humans, build relationships with new partners and welcome them to the team.
  • Help our influencers with any questions they might have via email and DMs.
  • Organise deliveries of food, extra goodies and surprises to our community, going above and beyond whenever you can.
  • Outreach to new creators to join our ambassador program, and identify accounts to progress.
  • Work alongside our social and creative team to design & distribute content briefs, content challenges and our monthly newsletters.
  • Join and help organise our regular dog walks and influencer events, taking part in the whole process from planning, to invites & hosting our influencers and customers.

What we’re looking for:

  • A people (and dog) person. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • You have a high attention to detail, and can work independently, and are self-motivated.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Creative flair for content ideation and engagement.
  • Quickly recognise and stay up to date with trends within the industry.
  • A passion for dogs is essential
  • Due to the location of our offices, a driver’s license is very helpful.
