Carbon Market Commercial Sales Manager

Join our team and take the lead in delivering innovative solutions to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy. As a self-starter, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with major corporate clients and contribute directly to the decarbonisation efforts of key industries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Sales Target Ownership: Take responsibility for achieving sales revenue targets for specific market(s), developing a strong sales pipeline, and driving sales closures.
- Market Analysis: Analyse key industries based on their Scope 1, 2, & 3 carbon emissions and identify opportunities within these sectors for decarbonisation solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Identify and engage major corporate customers within the target industries, providing value-added advisory services related to decarbonisation and carbon credit solutions.
- Sales Process Management: Drive customer engagements from initial discussions through to the successful closing of sales, including submission and negotiation of commercial proposals and contracts.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to foster recurring sales and ensure long-term success.
- Contract and Pipeline Management: Secure both short-term (spot) and long-term (forward) contracts, and manage the development of sales pipelines.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer demand, and price fluctuations, providing regular reports on developments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within the energy, commodities, or financial sectors, ideally targeting large multinational corporations.
- Track Record: Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing key client relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with carbon credits (voluntary or compliance), decarbonisation, corporate sustainability, or trading carbon credits would be highly beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders both locally and internationally.
