Legal Tech Contracts Manager | Financial Services SME


This leading financial services and AI-driven company is seeking an experienced Technology and Legal Specialist to join their team.


This role offers the chance to work closely with both the Finance and Legal teams, managing a wide range of legal matters and driving the company's legal tech initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing, onboarding, and managing their legal tech solutions.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the entire contract lifecycle. This includes reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial contracts. Your responsibility will be to ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal standards, while meticulously tracking key dates and obligations to manage renewals or terminations effectively. You’ll also offer strategic advice on contract terms and negotiations, aligning business objectives with legal requirements to minimise risk.


A key part of the role involves implementing and optimising legal technology solutions to improve contract management and workflow automation. This will require collaboration with the IT department and other stakeholders to integrate these tools seamlessly. You will also be responsible for training team members on these technologies, ensuring the legal department operates with maximum efficiency and accuracy.


Additionally, you will provide guidance on compliance issues related to contracts, and work to develop best practices for contract management and document automation to continually enhance the efficiency of legal operations.


Key Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of experience in commercial contract management.
  • Proficiency with legal tech solutions, including contract management software, e-signature platforms, and document automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract terms, legal compliance, and risk management.
