My client, a top international law firm, is seeking to recruit an experienced risk and compliance professional to join them in either their Birmingham or Manchester office on a 6m fixed-term contract basis.

This is a role created to become part of the centralised Business Intake team.

As the successful AML & Conflicts Assistant, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

- Collating and reviewing CDD for new clients

- Carrying out client and matter risk assessments (using Intapp)

- Conducting AML checks on a regular basis

- Assessing and analysing conflict search results

- Alerting senior members of the team on potential conflicts of interests

- Handling and dealing with queries from Fee-Earners and support staff

+ many more.

To qualify as the successful AML & Conflicts Assistant, you'll need to have/be the following:

- Have a minimum of 6 months compliance experience at an international law firm

- Have experience of using 'Intapp Open'

- Be prepared to undertake any training deemed necessary by the firm

- Be degree education
