Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules for groundworks projects.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and budget.

- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes for materials and subcontractors.

- Analyze and report on project financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve any issues related to costs or contracts.

- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.


Required Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the groundworks sector.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
