This is a senior middle office opportunity to provide direct support to the Traders on the Equity Trading desk, whilst also stepping in to assist the team manager providing mentorship and coaching team members.


This dynamic investment manager invests in diverse asset classes, including Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, and Cryptocurrencies. As part of the Middle Office function, you will work closely with the Equity Traders to oversee the full trade lifecycle for Equities. This includes complex investigation and reconciliation, overseeing third party administrators ensuring seamless trade settlement.


As a key player in middle office operations, you will oversee the full trade lifecycle, primarily focusing on Equity. Your daily responsibilities encompass trade processing, monitoring failed trades, position reconciliation & investigation and collaboration with internal teams, Prime brokers, counterparties, and third-party administrators.


In your role, you will also assist the wider operations team with trade booking across all asset classes and as the senior on the Equity team, you will also assume responsibility for monitoring Corporate Actions for the front office, ensuring accurate booking and reconciliation, as well as instructing elections.


Candidates will be proactive team players with at least 4+ years Equity trade support experience. While a background in equities or multi assets is essential, candidates do not need prior corporate actions knowledge. However, it is essential that candidates demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for working in middle office with demonstrable knowledge of the full trade lifecycle of Equities through to settlement.
