My client is at a high street, medium sized firm with a beautiful office in South West London. The firm is known for its lovely atmosphere and great team. They are currently looking to hire an experienced conveyancing paralegal/legal secretary to provide support and work within the property team who is happy to remain in a secretarial/paralegal role for a substantial period of time as the role would be assisting an incredibly busy solicitor in the department. However, there is opportunity for progression within the firm in the future and to potentially run your own files under supervision.


The primary role will be to work closely with the firms property solicitors, proactively assisting the team with a high-volume caseload and dealing directly with client queries daily as well as assisting with various tasks. The day to day tasks will consist of general administration including but not limited to opening files, undertaking AML checks, producing letters and documents which utilise Case Management and IT systems.


This exciting new role is available as the firm are looking to gain a member of support staff who will help assist the residential team as a whole due to the department being so busy. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced and highly trained Solicitors in a fast-paced environment allowing you to develop your skills further and gain great exposure. This role will be a full time office role, however hybrid working may also be considered with a minimum of 3-days working in office.


The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills that support an ability to work with a high degree of attention to detail whilst at the same time productively managing a large volume of work to stretching targets in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, apply today.


Requirements

A degree from a UK University (2:1 and above).

At least 5-years experience as paralegal/secretary within a residential and commercial property law firm, is essential.

Experience using case management systems.
