A Specialist SEND school in Richmond are looking for a creative and enthusiastic PMLD Teacher to join their school on a permanent basis from September.


The Role

In this role you will teaching in a mixed age class of PMLD learners. You will be supported by a team of experienced SEND teaching assistants to deliver highly personalised teaching and learning, therapy programmes and personal care. You will have support from senior leadership and access to regular CPD training.

The school are looking for a PMLD Teacher with the following:

  • Experience of PMLD / SLD /complex needs
  • A creative and caring approach
  • Confident working in of a large inter-disciplinary team alongside medical and therapy staff


This role is offered on a permanent basis from September.

This happy, forward-thinking and innovative Special Needs school is for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. Children follow an individualised curriculum for learners to enjoy and be stimulated and challenged to fulfil their potential. The school’s experienced leadership team and highly-qualified staff have created a culture of high expectations for both learners and themselves. This school offers and excellent opportunity for teachers and support staff who want to work in a special educational needs environment.
