ROLE: Contract Administrator
SALARY: £24 p/h, circa £49,000 per annum (PAYE)
JOB TYPE: 1 year
LOCATION: Stoke on Trent (ST2)
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, office based
THE ROLE:
- To assist in providing a comprehensive client representation, monitoring service, and strategic partners in relation to the contracts designated to the PFI Contracts & Premises Management Service.
- To assist in the delivery of high quality, efficient, and effective school premises and PFI contract management for schools, academies, and the local community to ensure it meets its contractual requirements, maintains positive relationships with contractors and partners, and secures the best value for customers.
- To assist in maintaining management systems, procedures, and protocols for monitoring the performance of the designated contracts, ensuring that comprehensive data and information pertaining to each contract is regularly collated, maintained, analysed, and reported.
- To support the Team Manager Schools in developing plans, policies, and procedures to deliver an appropriate Contract Management Service to meet the Directorate’s objectives.
- To liaise with Premises Officers within the PFI Contracts & Premises Management Service, contractors, external advisers and consultants as required to secure the delivery of contract objectives to the required quality, time, and budget.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Experience working with service providers within either PFI or PPP contracts.
- Experience in PFI contract finance.
- Experience in budget and/or financial modelling using MS Excel.
