£350 - £400 per day

Remote work model (Ad hoc travel to their London or Horsham office)


We have partnered with a prestigious charity, which is going through an exciting period of transformation, now looking for a Senior Project Manager who will drive the creation of key deliverables to time, budget and quality required.


This will become a high profile piece of work involving our Board of Trustees as well as our Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership team.


The main focus of this brief will be

● Design of the Readiness Roadmap: what are the deliverables, who needs to be involved, how and over what time scale, and how much budget will be required?

● Drafting a business case for investment in high value (P&P) fundraising - all phases - for sign off by the Board in December.


You will work with the Business Owner, P&P team and Finance business partner to understand the work to date; whilst also being responsible for securing any outstanding sign offs at Exec or Board level.


Skills & Experience;

  • Experience of writing business cases suitable for presentation to Board-level stakeholders to justify investment of over £1 million. This should include benefits definition and cost modeling (working with finance colleagues)
  • Experience of working in the Discover/Define/start-up stage of project / programme lifecycles
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with experience of coordinating input and involvement across disparate teams.
  • Experience in / knowledge of fundraising and philanthropy / major giving and/or working in the charity sector (desirable)
  • Experience of writing business cases to application standards e.g. “5 case” model would be an advantage
