London, UK, United Kingdom Daistara, UAB Full time

We’re working on something exciting - developing a high-frequency, automated trading system that uses advanced liquidity strategies within centralized crypto exchanges, also known as market-making strategies.

Our goal is to create a cutting-edge platform that handles real-time data processing and optimizes trading performance while keeping risk in check.

We’re all about innovation and harnessing the power of machine learning and neural networks to bring our vision to life. As part of this ambitious journey, we’re building a smart, automated trading platform with advanced data tools and a focus on risk management, using the latest models and methodologies.

People perform better when they’re happy, paid well, looked after, and supported, therefore we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer the flexibility to choose where and when you're most productive.

Right now, we're a tightly-knit team based in Lithuania, though we don't care where you are in Europe if you're a fit.

We’re building a cutting-edge high-frequency trading system and need a Quantitative Researcher to help bring it to fruition.

Must have requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience applying machine learning in financial markets or similar complex real-time systems.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing LSTM and LightGBM models.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and its scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Solid understanding of time series analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Understanding of crypto market-making and statistical arbitrage strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and probability theory.

Ideally, you’d have:

  • Experience with other ML models relevant to time series forecasting.
  • Understanding of reinforcement learning and its application in trading.
  • Experience with distributed computing platforms for large-scale data processing.
  • Experience with real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of high-frequency trading concepts and market microstructure.

We don’t expect you to:

  • Work alone. We're a highly collaborative team and love creating a world-class product together.
  • Come with all the know-how and have all the answers. There will always be ongoing feedback from the team.
  • Simply accept tasks as they are. We encourage you to always question the status quo.

What you will get:

  • Compensation is based on your skills and experience — we’re ready to recognize and reward it
  • Opportunity to join the team at the early stages of the venture and be directly involved in building it from the ground up.
  • Fully remote. We want you to work wherever is best for you.
  • Flexible working hours. We trust you to do your job, without anyone looking over your shoulder. Perform your best work at the times that suit you best.
  • Ownership. You’re the expert in your field, and with that comes the freedom to make decisions and act swiftly - no needless bureaucracy. Have a creative idea? You’ll have the independence to pursue it - without the restrictions you might face elsewhere.

Join our team in developing an automated trading platform. If you're passionate about cutting-edge tech and solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you
