POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a professional sales position and would suit someone with a strong background in merchant services. Must have a proven track record of consistently achieving key performance indicators and delivering successful sales calls. We are particularly interested in applicants who have extensive experience in sales roles and are open to someone from an external sales background to transition to an internal position within our sales department.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Accountabilities:
- Support a team of Business Development Managers by delivering pre-agreed promotional activity and product launches to Independent and National Multiple Merchants
- Establish annual and monthly Sales and GP forecasts by Rep utilising Numerik software
- GP Reporting – Daily, weekly, monthly
- Set up Sales Automation & CRM systems utilising NetSuite and Numerik
- Provide Sales Reps with best practice sales tools and processes
- Attend Monthly Global Sales call
- Work with Product Marketing on new products, market validations and launch plans
- Able to prepare and execute merchandising plans, working in partnership with the Business Development Manager
- Confidently able to oversee/ manage an internal support team
KPI’s:
- Alongside your team of Business Development Managers, you will be required too;
- Meet or exceed GP budget
- Meet or exceed annual company sales budget
- Meet or exceed company budget for allocated Business Development Manager
- Confidently updating CRM, Forecasting and opportunities
- Monthly Sales Meetings
- Monthly Sales Campaign
- Prepare and execute joint business plans with Business Development Manager
- Forecast accuracy
- Total sales team call rates
- Sales Pipeline Conversion rate
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Has experience selling or managing sales into the UK merchant industry
- Has a good network of contacts.
- People oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Effective relationship building, networking and influencing skills
- Excellent communications skills – written, verbal and interpersonal - with an ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
- Ability to identify, analyse and develop effective solutions to problems
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Willing to work in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
