About the Role:

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for gathering and analysing market data and existing internal data sources to provide actionable intelligence for potential business opportunities. The role translates complex data from a variety of sources into clear insights, aiding cross-functional teams in making informed decisions. The Market Research Analyst will utilize data and facts to support business strategies.

Job Responsibilities/ Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and changes in the competitive market.
  • Analyse and provide insights, build conclusions, and present published data and statistics with market insights.
  • Collaborate in developing accurate market forecasts based on historical data, industry trends, and relevant factors.
  • Explore new tools and methodologies to analyse and interpret data.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentation materials.
  • Understand correlations in market data and their impact on JobLogic as a business.
  • Serve as the organization's reference for diverse market knowledge.
  • Constantly monitor market news in the industries served and forecast the impact on the business.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in market research methodologies, data analysis, and interpretation. They should possess excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills, proficiency in statistical analysis tools, and experience with market research software. They should have hands-on experience conducting market research projects, analysing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Familiarity with industry-specific trends and technologies relevant to Joblogic's market would also be beneficial. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and market research software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience in the software/technology industry or a related field.
  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics and metrics.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Previous experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment.
  • Certifications in market research or data analysis (e.g., Market Research Society (MRS) qualifications).
