We’re looking for a passionate and hardworking Social Media Manager to join us We have ambitious and exciting plans for the future.


Role Responsibilities:

As the Content and Social Media Manager for Lane7, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the company’s digital and social presence. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute an integrated content and social media strategy that drives brand growth, engages our audience and achieves measurable results across multiple channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management


  • Develop and own a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Work with creators and contribute yourself to create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content, including photography, videography and written materials, tailored for each platform.
  • Maintain and manage a robust content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaign assets across owned channels and supporting on paid content activity.
  • Edit and repurpose content for various formats, ensuring consistency in brand voice, tone and style.
  • Coordinate with external creatives such as photographers, videographers and other third parties as needed.


Social Media Strategy & Execution


  • Support the Head of Marketing with strategy, planning and execution of social media campaigns across all platforms.
  • Stay ahead of trends, platform updates and audience behaviours to ensure content and campaigns are innovative and effective.
  • Leverage analytics to track performance, optimise content and share insights with stakeholders regularly.
  • Build relationships with influencers and creators and other brand partners to expand the brand’s social reach and authenticity.


Commmunity Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day interactions across platforms, including responding to comments, messages and mentions promptly.
  • Foster a sense of community by engaging with followers, amplifying user generated content and nurturing relationships.


Campaign Integration


  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align content strategies with campaign goals and broader business priorities.
  • Contribute to paid media strategies by creating content optimised for advertising and ensuring alignment with organic efforts.


Analytics & Reporting


  • Use data to inform decision-making, track KPIs and report on the success of content and social media campaigns.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and maximize ROI.


Required Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience in content creation, social media management and community engagement.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an eye for aesthetics and an understanding of what resonates with target audiences.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and content scheduling platforms.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A team-oriented approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Keep one finger on the pulse of social media, trends and all things content.
  • Passionate about flawless execution, open minded curious and a strong problem solver.
  • Enjoy variety in your work.


Desirable Qualities


  • Basic design and video editing skills.
  • Ability to use professional photography and videography equipment.
  • Creative and fun way of working.


Working Arrangement


  • Hybrid, you’ll get around - a mixture of working from home, in central London with the rest of the team (we tend to use working spaces) and from venues.
  • Lane7 is a night owl. Due to the nature of our business, we will ask for flexibility to work odd evenings/weekends/Bank Holiday when required. Thursday – Saturday are Lane7’s peak days, so expect to visit sites on these days at least three times a month.
