Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement control systems and automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain automation standards and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system and automation equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process optimization.
  • Provide technical support for automation equipment and software.
  • Create maintenance plans for manufacturing and packing equipment software.
  • Perform system upgrades and modifications.
  • Stay updated on automation technology and industry regulations.
  • Share expertise with colleagues to improve understanding and performance.
  • Create and implement task instructions for Controls and Automation tasks.
  • Participate in the design and commissioning of new production facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure program data security in accordance with Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
  • Maintain a database of optimal program settings for equipment recovery.
  • Design and write PLC, HMI, and SCADA control system software.
  • Work with third-party specialists to implement best practices for machine software.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols for control systems and automation equipment.


Qualifications:


  • Experience with proactive maintenance approaches such as CBM, PPM, and OAC.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving control and automation systems issues.
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI systems like Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement activities.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or Biotech environments
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Compliance.
  • Effective time management and workload organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to amend and improve process controls.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement projects.
