As the global energy landscape continues to evolve, our client is committed to leading this change, particularly within the Bioenergy sector. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to oversee and optimize operations at their bioenergy production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the bioenergy plant, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee the performance of the plant, including production, maintenance, and safety operations, to meet or exceed operational targets.
- Implement and monitor operational KPIs to ensure that the site meets or exceeds its annual budget goals.
- Develop and maintain all operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs), ensuring all team members are fully trained and compliant.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum of an HNC in Engineering or a related discipline; a degree or HND is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in a production or plant management role, ideally within the bioenergy or a related sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
