Leading eCommerce client now requires a Senior Golang Developer to join their dynamic team and create/deploy innovative features across an array of their products and services.


Key responsibilities:

  • Design and build Golang applications working as part of an agile team.
  • Contribute towards the planning and development of systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve ways of working and share knowledge across the business.
  • Review code to identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer data is safe.
  • Regular deployment of code.


Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience using Modern Golang and gRPC.
  • Experience working in autonomous agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and modern infrastructure practices (Azure, Docker etc.)
  • Prior experience with testing (Automated, Unit, Integration etc.)
  • Understanding of distributed system design.
  • Experience designing and developing APIs (Preferably in gRPC).


This is a 6-month contract opportunity which provides a daily rate of £575 (Outside IR35).


In terms of office location, this role is flexible with 1-2 times per month in our clients Central London office.
