Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Up to £100,000

London (Remote - 1 day onsite per month)

Company:

This company are within the telecoms space that partner with more than 1,000 UK companies focusing on making a positive impact on people and the planet.

They are looking for a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their team, working a part of the Data Science team to integrate ML technologies into internal business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML models and pipelines, in close collaboration with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and Data Engineers
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, design, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Mentor and upskill members off the team.
  • Maintain and enhance existing ML models, ensuring all models are deployed in production are monitored.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in ML/AI, and related fields to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
  • Good knowledge of ML/AI state-of-the-art, principles, practical applications and limitations
  • Technical leadership, strong communication skills, mentoring experience
