E-Commerce Assistant

Assisting the day-to-day running of our online store. This will encompass Product Launches, Image Management, SEO, and the opportunity to develop as the business grows.

The full-time position is based at our Head Office in Shepherds Bush and is required to be in the office 4 days a week, and 1 day working from home.

Key responsibilities:

Product upload and website content:

  • Uploading new products and data on the website, using Netsuite and Shopify, as well as maintenance of existing products.
  • Ensuring the product merchandising of the website is always maintained, utilising trade & stock knowledge to align with the business goals.
  • Maintaining web pages by ensuring all collections, product images and videos are up to date to launches
  • Website image management - Looking after the Image folders on the shared drive, resizing and uploading all new product imagery to Shopify in time for product launches.
  • Owning the process of ensuring that product information is accurate for publication, through liaising with production/buying and relevant teams
  • Owning and managing the “Coming Soon” process for the website – working cross functionally with the relevant teams to ensure new products are loaded in a timely manner to generate product interest and keep customers informed
  • Assisting the Ecommerce Manager in setting up seasonal sales.
  • Assisting the Ecommerce Manager with working alongside the SEO and developer agencies.
  • Look after the websites product reviews and feeding back to the team key pieces of customer information.
  • Assisting the Ecommerce Manager when needed

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Previous experience in Shopify.
  • Preferably previous experience working in Fashion/Retail
  • Enthusiastic and flexible in response to an ever-evolving business
  • Strong communication skills and effective collaboration across functions
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Resilient and adaptable with ability to use initiative in a demanding and fast paced environment
