Excellent opportunity for a Test Manager for a 3-4 month initial contract to support the delivery of a Dayforce People & payroll implementation. You will have a proven track record in a similar role and you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a People/payroll related project role.



You will be part of a team delivering this strategic project, there is a requirement for someone with an open mind and the ability to recognise when flexibility is required, especially if it means the outcome is better or greater than sticking rigidly to the process.



The Test Manager will be the custodian of accurate and up-to-date management of all testing (unit/Load/UAT) of the Payroll and People functionality of the Dayforce system as configured for the organisation by the Dayforce team.




Skillset



  • Solid experience with test automation with experience creating and maintaining test scripts using tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber, FitNesse, CodedUI
  • Actively participate in continuous quality improvements of the configuration and processes through automated tests
  • Expertise in using tools to build test dashboards and reporting on a regular basis
  • Coordinate with the functional leads to complete testing and support them on the same
  • Write test scripts with the BA to ensure the automated tests focus on real-world scenarios and not just what is easy
  • Help manage the Automation Process. Prioritizing work, determining the automation test plan, and helping with escalations
  • Investigate, report, and track product failures to resolution. Investigate and identify false positives that produce automated testing, ensuring the test suite remains up to date
  • Create automated tests that are maintainable by other members of your team
  • Analyse test results and improve the areas with higher defect trends
  • Participate in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases
  • Experience working with SaaS Enterprise Software
  • Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
  • Experience with API’s using tools such as Swagger or Postman
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) an asset. E.g. Umbraco, Orchard, Kentico, Joomla, Drupal, etc.





You will need a combination of information management; data management; analysis; communication and IT skills.




You should talk to People, validate information gathered, analyse the same and process map everything around the project needs and create meaningful clear documentation to feed the design of the solution.




You should be a person who likes to bring order to chaos and pride yourself on having structured and organised ways of working in a loosely structured environment.
