Our Edinburgh based client are looking for a Policy Manger to join their team on a contract basis until the end of April 2025.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review website content and other materials to ensure legislative compliance. Support the preparation of briefings, responses to information requests, and correspondence.
  • Contribute to the development of annual and general business reports to support decision-making, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and delivering value for money within the Office of the Adjudicator.
  • Assist in drafting guidance and support materials in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates to the website as part of information management.
  • Provide cross-functional support across the Adjudicator’s office, assisting both the Adjudicator and the Head of Office as needed.


Key Applicant Requirements

  • Skilled in articulating legal and policy intentions effectively through both written and verbal communication.
  • Experienced in developing policies that align with legal requirements.
  • Proven ability to work within legislative environments, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver key priorities.
  • Highly capable of managing competing demands, prioritising tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Adept at presenting information in a clear and compelling way to diverse audiences for enhanced understanding.
  • Proficient in preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and developing business cases within areas of responsibility.
  • Skilled in designing, implementing, and monitoring quality frameworks to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication abilities when engaging with diverse individuals and groups.


This role offers hybrid working but does require regular attendance in the Edinburgh so only candidates who live within a commutable distance will be considered. The role is Inside IR35.
