Key Objectives & Job Scope


The ideal individual will have a passion for marketing, with this role having a dual focus on growing our e-commerce businesses on Amazon in the UK and delivering the media buying across our paid media social channels globally.


Working closely with both the marketing and social media managers you will operate across our whole portfolio of brands to drive sales growth, engagement, and awareness - all whilst ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and staying true to our brand values.


Experience within an online retail environment, especially Amazon, would be preferable and knowledge of using paid media across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube an advantage but not essential.


You will work closely with the whole department to ensure our websites are looking fantastic, supporting the business on all things digital.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Managing SLG’s UK brand portfolio on Amazon: Johnny’s Chop Shop, Rhyme&Reason, Happy Hair People, Colab and Velvotan.

Using Amazon campaign manager to drive our Amazon e-commerce KPIs including return on ad spend (ROAS).

Reviewing and testing new Amazon e-commerce features and functionality to ensure they deliver an optimized brand performance on the channel.

Ensure our Amazon brand shops are kept up to date with the latest product information and accompanying A+ content.

Managing our Amazon cases for product, stock and customer issues.

Managing our Amazon inventory and shipments into Amazon warehouses ensuring the SLG supply chain team have an accurate stock forecast.

Deliver the paid media plan for the SLG portfolio of brands using TikTok ads. manager, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Youtube) as agreed by the Marketing managers.

Run media buying test and learn programs as agreed by the marketing managers including looking at both Pinterest and Snapchat.

Report back on paid media performance working with the marketing managers to ensure appropriate actions are then being taken.

Working with the marketing team to ensure that all SLG websites are continually updated to optimize engagement, communicating brand and product updates.


Qualifications & Experience Requirements:


  • Experience of growing and optimising brands through Amazon, if your experience is only in DTC platforms, e-tailer sites or other marketplaces that would also be beneficial.
  • A working knowledge of Amazon analytical tools would be helpful, for example Helium 10 or Junglescout.
  • Knowledge of buying paid social media ads preferred but not essential, as training will be given.
  • Excellent understanding of all social media platforms including TikTok (either personally or professionally).
  • Experience of working on websites builds.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics would be preferred.


Key Competency Requirements:


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships. across the business; as the role will involve working closely with multiple departments such as marketing, sales, finance and supply chain.
  • Methodical and analytical with good attention to detail, with 100+ individual paid media ads live at any one time and 50+ product lines to manage on Amazon.
  • Flexible approach with willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
  • Hard working and productive, able to manage own workload as whilst you are part of a bigger team it is a specialist and unique role within it.
  • Excellent time management skills and eagerness to meet monthly deadlines.
  • Team player with committed, professional and positive attitude.
