Our clients are a fabulous family run business with over 35 years’ experience in the clothing supply industry, providing design, development sourcing & distribution to retailers globally. They are looking to add an experienced womenswear designer to their vibrant team.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and develop ranges with a strong vision and direction, driving quality and considered product.
• Report into the design manager and identify and deliver trend direction to the team in weekly meetings.
• Liaise with our overseas offices on a daily basis.
• Collaborating and working closely across departments including marketing buying and merchandising.
• Use insights and data to design commercial and trend led collections.
• Working with the technical team on fits on a weekly basis to perfect key blocks and construction.
• Positively lead and be a role model to the design team providing clear direction and encouraging collaborative ways of working.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a womenswear fashion designer in the industry
• Excellent eye for fashion design and styling
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work towards multiple deadlines
• Able to maintain brand consistency throughout your work
• Knowledge and experience of adobe creative suite
• Prioritise workload and work independently
