Logistics Supervisor

Role Focus:
Purple is actively seeking an efficient, solution focused Logistics Manager in its Fashion division in the agency’s London office. The right candidate must have great organizational skills and the ability to take charge of managing a fast-paced logistics department, maintaining PURPLE’s image to the highest standards.
Day to day responsibilities
- Managing and logging product deliveries across Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Divisions.
- Efficient and clear communications with account teams and wider agency.
- Liaise with couriers and internationals regarding all deliveries and diversions of shipments where required.
- Maintain accurate records of all multi-drop services, securing proof of deliveries at all times.
- Building and establishing relationships with key courier companies to ensure business needs are met within budget and proactively exploring more efficient solutions.
- Manage all wrong returns directly with appropriate agencies or in-house teams.
- Maintaining and managing the Logistics Department ensuring efficiency with all RTVs.
- Managing the Logistics Assistant and interns across all logistical tasks with regards to sample trafficking.
- Support the ongoing collaborative relationships between the wider teams to ensure that tasks are carried out in line with process and in an efficient manner.
- Managing bi-weekly inventory checks for sample recall, RTVs, overdue returns.
Required Skills
- Proficient in all aspects of Launchmetrics - from running reports, logging samples, send out and request management, contact database etc.
- Deep understanding of international shipping and relevant documentation required - UPS, DPD, FedEx, Worldnet etc.
- 3+ experience in managing logistics in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Candidate Description
- A multitasker who enjoys working in a fast-paced agency environment and is able to deliver work of a high standard to the deadline.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Discreet, professional and articulate, with excellent communication skills.
- Extremely well-organised, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
- Experience in a fashion logistics role is a plus.
