What you'll be doing;

  • Work on a large range of industrial boilers, combustion equipment and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines.
  • Planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair and some minor installation works.
  • Training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicants must be willing to multi-skill as necessary.


What we're looking for;

  • You will have proven electrical fault finding skills and electrical qualifications - you must hold HNC electrical engineering or ONC electrical engineering qualification.
  • A full drivers licence
  • Combined Heat & Power experience would be beneficial, and a gas safe qualification would be advantageous, as would COSHH awareness and IOSH core.
  • Steam boiler plant experience and gas and oil combustion experience is also desirable.
