Business Development Executive

About the Role
As a Business Development Executive , you'll play a key role in driving new business for our client's UK depots. Working closely with a supportive team, you’ll:
- Generate Leads: Proactively identify and contact new prospects by phone and email.
- Close Deals: Manage the full sales cycle for opportunities up to £10,000 annual revenue.
- Support Growth: Refer larger opportunities to our Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Handle Inbound Enquiries: Respond to incoming leads and turn them into loyal customers.
- Own the CRM: Keep our sales pipeline organised and accurate, supporting reporting and strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- B2B Sales Expertise: Previous experience in telesales or customer acquisition.
- Communication Pro: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to connect with prospects.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (experience is a bonus).
- Logistics Knowledge: Experience in freight/logistics is desirable
- Drive & Flexibility: Occasional travel to depots or trade shows (full driving license required).
