About the Role

As a Business Development Executive , you'll play a key role in driving new business for our client's UK depots. Working closely with a supportive team, you’ll:

  • Generate Leads: Proactively identify and contact new prospects by phone and email.
  • Close Deals: Manage the full sales cycle for opportunities up to £10,000 annual revenue.
  • Support Growth: Refer larger opportunities to our Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Handle Inbound Enquiries: Respond to incoming leads and turn them into loyal customers.
  • Own the CRM: Keep our sales pipeline organised and accurate, supporting reporting and strategy.


What We’re Looking For

  • B2B Sales Expertise: Previous experience in telesales or customer acquisition.
  • Communication Pro: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to connect with prospects.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (experience is a bonus).
  • Logistics Knowledge: Experience in freight/logistics is desirable
  • Drive & Flexibility: Occasional travel to depots or trade shows (full driving license required).
