London, UK, United Kingdom Clarasys Full time

Company Overview:

Clarasys is a fast growing and award-winning consultancy, with a great team. Founded in 2011 we are a team of around 200 people with offices in the UK and US. We work with some of the world’s sector leading companies to solve their greatest challenges. Our clients trust us to deliver better ways of doing things, because of our different way of doing things.

Embracing a non-hierarchical culture, we foster collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity. ‘Team’ rules over ‘individual’, and development is part of the fabric, not just a training course. Here, you’re encouraged to be yourself, every voice is heard, and every idea is valued, propelling us forward into a future where collective empowerment drives our success.

Here, doing the right thing for our clients is what matters most.

How you can help:

We are looking for a talented analyst to join our operations team. This is a great opportunity for somebody to come onboard primarily to help run and evolve our resourcing function, whilst also getting involved with other exciting initiatives and projects across our operations portfolio. We are looking for someone who has a real appetite for growth and learning as we mature our operations function.

To be successful you’ll need to be highly organised with talent for critical thinking, able to follow and run internal processes (and help to guide others through them), and be able to spot opportunity to improve processes and/or decisions. You’ll also need to be passionate about delivering a solution that provides the best outcome for our people, clients and Clarasys.

The role will work closely with a number of teams in support of the business’ workforce planning/supply needs, excellent stakeholder communication and management skills are vital. Your immediate responsibilities will be to deliver first class resource scheduling for a wide range of consulting engagements across our portfolio of work, whilst continually improving the process via system and process improvements.

Having a growth mindset, a willingness to learn and “get stuck in”, and being open to new challenges will be of paramount importance to this role - we would rather hire somebody with the right attitude than somebody with the perfect experience

Desired skills/experience (you don’t need to have experience of all of these):

  • Proactive and creative approach to critical thinking and problem solving
  • Numerate and well organised
  • Systems and process focused, ideally with experience of running processes and identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to juggle several tasks at once, and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Confidence in working across a multi-disciplinary team, able to minimise the risk of siloed/individual working
  • Computer literate, in particular an excellent working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets & Slides) or MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Experience in operations management within a professional services firm
  • Great stakeholder management skills and experience, excellent communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

Resourcing process

  • Oversee the efficient allocation and management of our people to meet project requirements and deadlines
  • Run resourcing sessions to identify viable role candidates and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Drive system data to be accurate in support of improved decision making and adherence to internal processes
  • Generate and build system reports as required
  • Move the consulting business towards self-serve resourcing - using available data and systems and reducing dependency on the operations team
  • Monitor resource utilisation and implement strategies to optimise resource allocation, ensuring maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness, matching supply and demand across our client portfolios, and helping opportunity owners to match capability and experience needs with the available Clarasys workforce
  • Collaborate with the relevant teams to optimise workforce planning and support future client demand.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, you will be the point-of-contact for resourcing requests.

Operations projects and support

  • Support the Operations team in delivery of priority projects and initiatives across our portfolio of workstreams including IT & Technology, internal process improvement, facilities management, Information Security/Risk Management, internal operating model and operational excellence
  • Provide generalist support across projects including analysis, project management, technical setup/configuration of tools, engagement with the business teams and other activities as required.
