Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging drama lessons that align with the school's curriculum
- Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity and develop confidence in their performance abilities
- Create and direct school productions, involving students in all aspects of the production process
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' performances and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and events
- Stay up-to-date with current drama practices and methodologies through professional development opportunities
- Relevant degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching drama to students at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain
