About the role

To ensure that our programs and initiatives bring solutions to unmet needs and issues, we strive to build them based on tangible data and insights we collect in the markets where we operate. We are looking for a Research and Knowledge Associate who will actively engage in and conduct research initiatives across the globe. This role involves hands-on research activities and coordination with external contractors and subject-matter experts to gather relevant data and insights. The findings will significantly shape INCO’s future programming and initiatives.


Your mission

  • Research execution: lead and conduct research projects on critical topics such as the impact of AI on entry-level jobs, job creation in the renewable energy sector, and expansion opportunities for social enterprises.
  • Data collection: gather data from reliable sources and engage in consultations with stakeholders including employers, entrepreneurs, job seekers, industry experts, and skilling organisations to enrich research content.
  • Data processing: analyse and interpret complex data, translating it into clear, actionable reports that guide the development and enhancement of INCO’s initiatives and training programs.
  • Data presentation: display research findings in formats that are both comprehensible and visually engaging to facilitate easy understanding and accessibility.
  • Project coordination: collaborate with external contractors, consultants, and subject-matter experts to optimise research quality and outcomes. Oversee these relationships to ensure that all contributions are in alignment with project objectives.


Desired experience

  • Significant experience in social-economic and/or data research
  • Native English speaker or fluent
  • Experience on workforce development and/or entrepreneurship related subjects
  • Providing a portfolio of research projects you led or participated in, would be a plus
