ESG Data Analyst, Prestigious Mid-Market Private Capital Fund, London, UK

Our client, a leading mid-market private equity firm is looking for an ESG Data Analyst to join its high performing team in the firm's London office. A great opportunity to join a dynamic firm looking to build on a market-leading approach to ESG at firm and portfolio level. What the job involves
- Lead implementation and management of the responsible investing data strategy, focusing on data collection, analytics, and reporting
- Develop and oversee the internal data platform for ESG and carbon data
- Produce regular and ad-hoc progress outputs for investors and regulatory bodies
- Drive data analytics to inform value creation and strategic projects
- Collaborate with internal teams, portfolio companies and General Partners to integrate ESG data into strategic decision-making
- Ideally 2-3 years of proven expertise in managing data systems and hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and management, particularly in ESG or financial services
- Organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen with a proactive and adaptable attitude
- Strong skills in Excel and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively to diverse stakeholders and present complex data in a clear, actionable way
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a focus on building strong relationships
- Passion for sustainability and ESG
- Familiarity with ESG metrics and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SFDR, CSRD) is a plus
