We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Ride-Hailing Finance Business Partner to join our team. This position reports into the SVP, Finance. This role is pivotal in driving financial insights and supporting the business in making key business decisions to maximize growth, cost-efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships with business stakeholders, while possessing a deep understanding of financials. They will have the ability to advocate for and influence decisions that drive financial efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Partner with the Ride-Hailing Growth team to develop and execute country-specific strategies that drive profitability and align with global business objectives
  • P&L Support: Partner with the business to provide guidance and clarity on the P&L for Ride-Hailing Growth, assisting with accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, while enabling the business to take ownership of financial results
  • Financial Leadership for Growth Initiatives: Evaluate and provide financial insights on new launches and projects within the Ride-Hailing Growth portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and financial feasibility
  • Cost-Effectiveness Analysis: Conduct in-depth cost-effectiveness analysis across all relevant areas, including bonuses, marketing spend, cost of revenue, and OPEX, to ensure optimal allocation of resources
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key financial advisor to budget holders, providing guidance on cost-saving projects and ensuring financial transparency across teams
  • Benchmarking & Peer Analysis: Perform comprehensive competitor and peer analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks, ensuring the Ride-Hailing Growth team remains competitive and innovative in the marketplace
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure cohesive financial planning and execution
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them, ensuring sustainable growth and operational efficiency
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Develop and deliver clear, actionable financial reports to senior management, providing insights on performance and recommendations for improvement
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to improving financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis


Requirements:

  • At least BSc in Economics and Finance
  • At least 5+ years experience with financial & business modeling, financial & budgeting tools
  • Strong analytical skills (proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, basic knowledge of SQL)
  • Experience with BI tools, data visualization
  • Ability to understand complex ecosystems and translate them into high-end financial and operational models
  • Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of long term investment returns modeling and capital allocation
