Richmond Village Painswick offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Care Home Manager to join the team. The Care Home Manager is responsible for leading their team to provide person centred care for our residents within the 24-bed care home. This luxurious boutique-style care home has a range of facilities not normally found in a care home. The care home features a wellness spa with swimming pool, hydrotherapy plunge pool, steam room, spa treatment rooms, nail bar and hair salon, as well as a restaurant, several elegant lounges, cafe-bar, library, and activities room plus spacious grounds, landscaped gardens and panoramic views over Slad Valley and Cotswold countryside.

Were looking for a Care Home Manager to work alongside our senior management team to lead our people in providing the highest quality of care to our residents.
Youll help us make health happen by:
Youll be clinically responsible for the ongoing care of residents within the care home - youll lead our teams, guiding and supporting them to ensure that safe and effective care is always provided. Ensuring all units comply with CQC standards of care, youll take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for residents. Responsible for ensuring staff levels are appropriate, youll lead on all aspects of clinical governance and work with senior professionals to develop systems, processes and practices to strengthen clinical practise and resident care. As well as developing the strategy and direction for the village youll also create and develop strong relationships with LAs, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners, always acting as a trusted healthcare partner.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
The successful applicant should possess or be willing to work towards obtaining a management qualification such as the Registered Managers Award. Youll be a leader with experience of leading and developing a care setting, with comprehensive experience in elderly care. Approachable and open, youre a confident leader who can empower our team to deliver the highest standards of care. Passionate about caring for others, youll put our residents at the heart of everything you do. The ability to lead by example, youll share your clinical knowledge on quality improvement and cultivate an open and honest culture amongst your team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking for their first appointment as a Registered Manager or for a Residential Manager looking to step into managing a nursing home.
Because we care for vulnerable people, well need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
