London UK, UK, United Kingdom Zedsen Full time

Who we are

Zedsen is a cutting-edge health technology startup based in London, focused on transforming breast cancer detection through our innovative, non-invasive sensor technology. Our proprietary sensors and advanced algorithms enable us to detect subtle changes in breast tissue, offering a safer, accessible, and cost-effective alternative to traditional screening methods. Our mission is to easy access to accurate, low cost breast cancer screening solutions. Ultimately this will improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and save lives.

What you’ll do

Developing novel sensing modalities requires a synchrony between system hardware design, signal processing and algorithmic development. At Zedsen the hardware and algorithms teams work in close collaboration to understand how hardware modifications and design iterations effect system performance. This spans a wide range of approaches, from component level analysis to bench-top and clinical system analysis and system simulation.

This role will serve as a key bridge between the hardware and algorithm/simulation teams, examining the effect of hardware design changes with data analysis and simulation insights. You will work closely with both teams to interpret how hardware modifications impact system performance and use system simulations to advise further system improvements. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on projects like clinical data analysis pipelines and other focus areas that are central to advancing Zedsen’s technology.
