AKA are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager, with a genuine love of the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a creative mind for pitching and a level-headed approach to client management. You will be responsible for strategically managing your own group of client accounts and should be adept at looking after personalities and reputations within the restaurant and bar sector. You should have good working relationships with relevant journalists, and have the management skills to ensure monthly deliverables are achieved.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and an energetic proactive nature who will thrive in a fast-paced agency environment; someone who is hungry to advance their passion for writing; print, digital and social media; food, drink and hospitality. This role is to drive client accounts, ensuring that strategies and activities are undertaken to the highest standard, that objectives are being met and that accounts are well managed.

AKA Communications is a full-service communications agency based in Central London, specialising in Restaurants & Bars, Travel & Wellness, and Consumer Brands. Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as an Account Manager at AKA Communications. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing communication strategies, building strong relationships with clients, pitching media stories, overseeing project timelines, and collaborating with the internal team. While the role is primarily based in London, there is flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Public Relations, Marketing, and Digital Media Management skills
- Client Relationship Management and Project Management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Media Pitching and Press Release Writing abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Experience in the food & drink, travel, or lifestyle industries
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
