Equifind are proud to be supporting a brilliant private equity client to recruit a Head of Finance Operations to work from their London Mayfair office for the next 12 months.


This established investor has a global reach offering private equity buyout strategies to its investors, across four different continents. With over €20 billion in assets under management and a global client base of institutional and private wealth investors, they are well positioned for their 9th fundraise in Q4 this year.


Due to investment and a reshuffle in the finance team, there is now a need to add a Head of Finance Operations to support the CFO and rest of the business.

Key deliverables include:

  • Ensure effective working capital management, including proactive regulatory capital management.
  • Integrating cash management with FP&A and facilitating actual v budget cash reporting.
  • Lead treasury and cash management operation in the delivery of robust financial reporting – both accurate actuals and forecasts.
  • Work with a variety of banks and banking platforms implementing efficient processes for cash management and reporting, including driving forward improvement projects to consolidate banking and implementing a global treasury reporting and management platform.
  • Develop and implement an effective FX hedging and cash management policy as part of evolving Treasury from an Operational to Strategic function.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data for accounts payable / receivable and the general ledger, while directing the preparation and timely delivery of reporting as required.
  • Actively manage recoverable expense balances, ensuring efficient invoicing and cash collection from funds.
  • Drive operational efficiencies of consolidating processes globally and achieving high levels of automation and control.
  • Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal department heads.
  • Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that adequately control payment and cash flow activities.


Background and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a minimum of 8 years post qualified experience.
  • Proficient with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience of working within a similar organisation i.e. Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Investment Bank etc.
  • Have a strong background in treasury and cash management
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, controls and projects
  • Track record developing and management relationships with banks, custodians, and vendors, etc.


Package on offer:

  • Base salary of £100k-£120k depending on your industry experience. We will look at day rate contractors as well, at the equivalent day rate
  • Discretionary annual bonus and all the usual benefits/perks
  • To start ASAP but we will look at candidates on 4 weeks' notice if they tick every box
