GMGN Labs is a start-up digital marketing agency specialising in emerging tech working with some of the world’s biggest brands. We are obsessed with immersive storytelling that harnesses the power of web3, social media, and emerging technologies.


We speak the language of the internet, and a big part of your job will be translating a client’s message into a campaign perfect for whatever platform it will live on.


We’re looking for a talented and driven individual who has prior experience in executing client campaigns across multiple channels to a high standard. We’d also like you to be nice. That’s a non-negotiable.


You’ll be working in exciting new and emerging industries, as well as developed verticals from sport & gaming, to fashion & entertainment. Every detail counts as we execute strategies that innovate and push boundaries.


As a Strategy Director, you will:


  • Define and drive the overarching strategic initiatives that keep us at the cutting edge of the Web3 space. Your strategies won’t just follow trends, they’ll set them.
  • Oversee and drive development and implementation of innovative GTM strategies for our clients across Web3 and innovation relative to our clients’ industries.
  • Use data to create compelling, strategic narratives that align closely with client objectives and market changes.
  • Guide the team to deliver and present strategies to clients, ensuring they understand, comprehend and invest in our strategic direction and guidance.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key clients, understanding and adapting strategy to their needs.
  • Identify potential strategic pitfalls and develop contingency plans to keep our projects moving forward.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and execute business strategies that significantly drive growth for the GMGN.
  • Champion innovative practices and technologies, ensuring the agency remains ahead of the curve and translates cutting-edge ideas into actionable solutions.
  • Lead and direct cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and technical departments, to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
  • Actively mentor and nurture talent within the agency, fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement and leadership development.
  • Oversee insight development and reporting through regular analysis of strategies to maximise performance.
  • Ensure all deliverables are aligned with the client’s brand, message, and goals.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be fun & nice - we like fun & nice people

  • Must be deeply curious, interested in new tech, trends and opportunities, keeping an ear to the ground on culture across the world
  • Experience as a Web3 Strategy/Marketing Director or a similar role leading strategy at a high level
  • Extensive knowledge of Web3 and the blockchain, with understanding of technical standards, and proven ability to apply this in a business context
  • Exceptional communication skills, both for internal leadership and external client management
  • Strong analytical abilities with a knack for turning complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience in marketing agency environment
  • Knowledge of best practices for marketing channels, including social platforms such as Discord, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in sports, gaming, entertainment or technology marketing, working with global brands / sports teams / leagues / games publishers / technology brands
  • Experience handling global strategies understanding diverse consumer behaviour
  • Degree / qualification in business / marketing / social media marketing / digital marketing / psychology or related field
  • Advanced, deep knowledge of the web3 space
  • 7+ years experience in strategy and agency environments
