Dayrate:£450 500/day


Role Overview: As part of a specialized team of identity experts, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist will be responsible for delivering global identity and access management services and associated governance within Jaguar Land Rover. This role encompasses IAM services for all employees, partners, suppliers, customers, and “things” globally.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide consultancy on IAM best practices (technical, governance, and process) to various stakeholders and teams.
  2. Develop and maintain IAM policies and procedures for all human and non-human users globally.
  3. Deliver IAM services via chosen software and service partners.
  4. Continuously improve IAM processes to support business needs.
  5. Provide accurate data analytics for key metrics and ensure least privilege access through audit procedures.
  6. Identify and mitigate IAM-related risks across the business.
  7. Engage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure awareness of IAM policies and procedures.
  8. Act as a point of escalation for IAM alerts or issues raised by other departments or monitoring systems.
  9. Stay updated on trends in information security and propose proactive mitigations.
  10. Collaborate with IAM SMEs, product owners, and various leadership teams for effective IAM implementation.

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience as an IAM subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge of identity management in Microsoft environments (Windows OS & Active Directory), Linux-based operating systems (desktop & server), and core infrastructure (network, databases).
  • Strong knowledge of IAM governance principles and best practices, with experience managing information security risks related to identity.
  • Familiarity with SAML/OAUTH protocols.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and managing external agencies.
