Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their UK Wealth Management IT team in an Application Delivery role. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovative IT solutions and system changes that directly impact the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional and integration analysis for application changes and enhancements
  • Conduct data mapping analysis from source to target systems
  • Take high-level business requirements and break them down into technical work packages for IT delivery teams
  • Liaise with upstream/downstream systems and stakeholders to understand integration touchpoints
  • Work closely with technical and business SMEs to comprehend application interfaces
  • Provide guidance to developers and QAs to ensure a unified understanding of requirements
  • Clarify integration issues and determine interfaces needed with existing systems
  • Obtain sign-offs from relevant control functions throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of technical background with a clear understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong experience in large-scale enterprise integration projects in financial services
  • Expertise in data mapping and financial data formats/protocols (FIX, FIXML, SWIFT, etc.)
  • Front-to-Back trade lifecycle knowledge, preferably cross-asset class
  • In-depth understanding of Wealth Management domain (client lifecycle, order flows, asset viewing, reporting)
  • Proven ability to produce precise specification documentation
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong design, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and promotion of best practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in complex, international projects
