The Highcliffe is located within a large sub-urban housing estate within a short travelling distance of the market town of Guisborough. The site is situated in a mid-market demographic with a mixture of privately owned and rented housing it is a popular venue during the week and weekends and has a large target customer base that use it for relaxed eating and social drinking purposes. There are two raised sections, the first hosts traditional pub games and includes a pool table and darts board as well as some TV screens for showing live sports. The second section is used as a dining area however the table plan throughout the pub is relaxed for both dining and drinking purposes which creates a comfortable community atmosphere that is enjoyed by the locals.
