The Role

As Lead Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital projects, leading the development team and shaping the technical vision for our agency. From immersive websites to cutting-edge interactive campaigns, you’ll play a key role in bringing our creative concepts to life while ensuring top-notch performance, scalability, and functionality.


Key Responsibilities

o Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve their best work

o Collaborate with our design and 3D teams to translate creative ideas into seamless digital experiences

o Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive websites and applications

o Oversee project timelines, code quality, and technical delivery standards

o Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our work innovative

o Provide technical solutions to meet client needs, ensuring both creativity and practicality


Skills and Requirements

o Extensive Commercial Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in professional software development, with a strong focus on delivering client-facing projects.

o Agency Expertise: Proven track record of working in a fast-paced agency environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

o Problem-Solving Excellence: Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, resolve, and optimize technical challenges.

o Collaborative Team Player: Strong team-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and client interactions.

o Proficiency in PHP and Laravel: Over 5 years of experience with PHP development, including deep expertise in the Laravel framework.

o Version Control Mastery: Strong command of GIT version control, using both GUI tools and terminal commands.

o Frontend Development Expertise: Solid skills in HTML and CSS (including pre-processors such as LESS/SASS) with a keen eye for maintaining modern web standards.

o JavaScript Knowledge: Competency in JavaScript with experience in libraries like jQuery and animation frameworks such as GSAP.

o Database Proficiency: Strong understanding of relational database design and management, particularly with MySQL/MariaDB.

o API Architecture Understanding: Experience designing, integrating, and consuming APIs, including REST and SOAP protocols.

o SEO Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO principles and their implementation.

o Server Management Skills: Proficiency in server maintenance using terminal commands and web hosting control panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk) and management of a Windows Web Server using IIS.

o Client Interaction Experience: Demonstrated ability to liaise directly with clients, understanding and responding to their technical and non-technical needs.

o Leadership and Project Management: Experience in leading teams, managing resources, and participating in planning, specification, and cost estimation for projects.

o GDPR Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR regulations and data handling best practices to ensure compliance across projects.
