About the Role:

As our Senior Sous Chef, you will play an essential role in leading kitchen operations across diverse events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to private celebrations. Youll ensure each dish meets our high standards, coordinating with our back-of-house team to deliver flawless service and unforgettable flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations for both internal and external catered events, ensuring hot and cold food preparation meets exacting standards and aligns with event timelines.
  • Manage food service standards, ensuring each event is delivered with consistency and professionalism.
  • Maintain meticulous standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness, adapting to varied event settings and customer needs.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of event menus, sharing critical service details with your team and ensuring clarity in every aspect of delivery.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to foster a positive work environment, supporting team well-being and building strong back-of-house relationships.
  • Assist in optimising kitchen operations for efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring each events culinary operations run smoothly.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a professional kitchen, with a solid background in catering or large events.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and coordinate a team, with a focus on delivering outstanding results under time constraints.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and adapt to the unique requirements of each event, ensuring seamless execution in a variety of settings.
  • Passion for Food: Deep culinary knowledge and a commitment to crafting memorable dining experiences tailored to bespoke events.
